The Women Who Wine of Texas is a small group of dynamic, results oriented, fun loving women living in Bay Area Houston.  The charter was formed by founding members Joanna Yates and Marcy Fryday in April of 2004.  The other charter members are Johnette Norman, Bonnie Lem, Julie Osburn, Susan Landwer, Nancy Vanderbilt,  Dr. Anna DeWald, Kim Swenson, Robyn Weigelt, Mary Ellen Arledge, Dianne Troop and Julie Johnson.

The vision of the founding members is to develop a small organization where lasting friendships can develop with strong women who they admire and want to get to know better. These women also put their efforts into projects that both contribute to the growth and development of their community, as well as helping those in need.

Parties With a Purpose

We all want to make a difference but many of us just don't know where to start of don't think we have time.  The Women Who Wine allows women to make connections, combine their money and have a bigger impact than they would alone.  It's all about finding something you're passionate about, setting your goals high and taking baby steps.  I've learned anything is possible.

This project is one of many for The Women Who Wine. We are a group of dynamic women who are going to make a difference in our community and our world.  Personally I am very proud to be a member.
